About the Engineer Methods and Temporary Works Role
The Engineer Methods and Temporary Works role is responsible for planning and designing temporary works used during construction. Temporary works are structures or systems that support construction activities but are not part of the final permanent structure. These may include special formwork, pile driving templates, platforms, walkways, temporary bridges, steel structures, cofferdams, and temporary supports.
The role also includes supervising the production of models and fabrication plans, preparing calculation notes, checking engineering documents, signing and sealing temporary works plans, and providing technical support to construction teams during site installation.
