About the HR Systems Analyst Role
The HR Systems Analyst will support Wave’s HR technology team by helping implement a new HRIS platform, manage data migration, configure workflows, improve system processes, and support HR reporting quality.
This role acts as a bridge between the People team and technical teams. The selected candidate will help build scalable HR systems for a multi-country fintech environment with different regulatory, payroll, talent, and workforce requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Wave’s HRIS migration in 2026.
- Assist with system configuration, data migration, testing, and quality checks.
- Configure HR workflows and processes in the new HRIS platform.
- Support rollout and scaling of internal service desk systems.
- Analyze HR systems workflows and recommend automation improvements.
- Support integrations across Talent Management, Workforce Management, Payroll, and HR systems.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Train HR team members and end-users on HRIS features and updates.
- Manage HR data quality projects and reporting dashboards.
- Support GDPR, CCPA, and other HR data privacy compliance requirements.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
Requirements
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience administering HRIS platforms in an organization with 5,000+ employees.
- Experience with HR modules such as HCM, Talent Management, Compensation, and Learning & Development.
- Workday experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with payroll, benefits, performance management, talent operations, and learning systems.
- Experience with HRIS implementation, upgrades, integrations, and reporting tools.
- Advanced data management, analytics, and reporting knowledge.
- Experience with PowerBI, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- Understanding of APIs, middleware, and system integrations.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Salary and Benefits
For this role, Wave offers a salary range of $66,400 to $75,800, depending on level and location. The role also includes a generous equity package.

Eligible Work Locations
This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be based in one of Wave’s talent hub countries, including the UK, Spain, Kenya, and Ghana, or one of Wave’s operating markets in Africa, including Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, or Burkina Faso.
