About the Role
The Visual Communications Designer will be responsible for developing creative visual materials that reflect Northwestern University Qatar’s brand identity. The selected candidate will support institutional storytelling and improve internal and external communications through professional design work.
The designer will work closely with the Assistant Dean of Communications and Public Affairs and the wider communications team to produce visually consistent and engaging content for multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Visual Identity
- Create professional designs for web, social media, print materials, reports, digital screens, events, and promotional campaigns.
- Maintain alignment with Northwestern University brand guidelines.
- Develop visual systems, templates, iconography, infographics, and layouts.
- Support storytelling and data visualization through clear design concepts.
- Translate strategic messages into effective visual communication assets.
Production & Project Coordination
- Manage multiple design projects from concept to final delivery.
- Ensure all design work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
- Coordinate with printers, vendors, freelancers, and production partners.
- Maintain an organized library of templates, brand assets, and final artwork files.
Creative Support & Collaboration

Minimum Qualifications
