Job Overview
The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for installing, configuring, customizing, testing, and supporting technical software solutions for clients. The role includes working closely with senior consultants, client users, product teams, integration teams, and professional services teams.
The selected candidate may provide project support remotely or work directly with clients on-site. During project execution, engineers may also need to visit customer plant locations within Qatar or outside Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Support setup, installation, configuration, and customization of technical solutions.
- Work with clients to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Assist with application configuration, testing, and user training.
- Manage initial client access and support data mapping and transfer.
- Create process documentation, functional requirements, designs, and lessons learned documents.
- Test and troubleshoot installed systems and application functionality.
- Identify and document technical issues for escalation to product or system integration teams.
- Provide feedback to product and professional services teams for improvement.
- Support clients remotely or on-site when required.
- Triage new and existing support requests.
- Maintain customer service level objectives and support contract requirements.
- Interface with end users and partners for training, support, feedback, and requirements gathering.
- Assist and train less experienced team members.
- Act as technical lead on project implementations when required.
- Identify additional product or service opportunities within customer organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM-based technology-related field.
- Relevant industry experience in software, engineering, technology, or client implementation.
- Strong understanding of technical systems and business process solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage implementation tasks.
