About the SC Order Management Sr. Associate Role

The SC Order Management Sr. Associate will support the GBS Supply Chain team with daily order management and customer service administration. The role acts as an important link between retailers, distribution networks, transport teams, customer services, finance, commercial teams, traffic planning, and third-party logistics partners.

The selected candidate will help make sure customer orders are processed correctly, delivery issues are resolved quickly, and customers receive the products and service they need. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication, good Excel knowledge, and the ability to work against daily deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders through EDI, OpenText, manual entries, samples, LC, intercompany, and export channels.
  • Handle customer queries related to deliveries, shortages, customer care, transport, commercial, finance, traffic planning, and 3PL.
  • Manage order failures by reprocessing, cancelling, and communicating updates to customers, transport teams, and customer care teams.
  • Respond to issues and queries through phone, emails, Teams, Zoom chats, and other communication channels.
  • Prepare end-of-day reports to ensure all orders are clean and accurate.
  • Book deliveries through customer portals, phone, Goods In teams, or email.
  • Input delivery information into SAP.
  • Support order cleansing activities.
  • Manage network exceptions and advise internal and external customers about operational issues.
  • Support training and onboarding of new associates.

Returns and Refusals Management

  • Create return deliveries when needed.
  • Inform sending warehouse and 3PL teams about pickup orders.
  • Coordinate with customers to resolve return-related issues.
  • Receive notifications about return deliveries from customers or sales teams.
  • Handle rare return cases such as large quantity errors, health-related issues, damages, or other major order concerns.

Other Activities

  • Support daily problem-solving in order processing.
  • Coordinate between departments through in-person communication, phone, Zoom meetings, and email.
  • Support customer service improvement initiatives.
  • Build and support relationships with key stakeholders within the business unit supply chain teams.
