As a Business Development Representative, you'll be responsible for creating a consistent pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities. This includes making outbound calls, sending emails, understanding customer needs, identifying sales opportunities, and helping convert prospects into customers.
The role is also focused on territory growth. You'll use customer and sales data to identify additional opportunities, maintain accurate CRM records, and work closely with the Business Development Manager and other internal resources.
📝 Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of HR HealthCare products, including features, benefits, target users, and potential applications.
- Understand competitive products and how HR HealthCare solutions differ from competing offerings.
- Build knowledge of the acute and non-acute medical distribution model.
- Understand the relationship between Group Purchasing Organizations, distributors, and healthcare facilities.
- Contact existing and prospective customers by phone and email to generate qualified leads.
- Develop new sales opportunities and help convert customers to HR HealthCare products.
- Travel within the assigned territory for account meetings, in-services, and implementation activities.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at healthcare facilities.
- Use customer relationships to influence purchasing decisions and develop new business.
- Work with GPO and distribution representatives to generate leads and sales opportunities.
- Review customer and sales data to identify additional opportunities within existing accounts.
- Meet monthly sales fundamentals, including required calls, emails, product trials, and wins.
- Maintain accurate customer activity records in the company CRM system.
- Support the Business Development Manager and complete other related responsibilities.
- Follow company policies, procedures, mission, values, and vision.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and team-focused approach.
🎯 Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of proven business development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to travel approximately 15%–20% within the assigned territory.
- Ability to learn and effectively use CRM and sales tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

- Valid driver’s license.
