About the Role
As a Senior Medical Coder, you will be responsible for accurately coding medical procedures and diagnoses while ensuring compliance with current coding regulations. The role supports the medical billing process and helps ensure timely and accurate submission of insurance claims.
The selected candidate will work closely with healthcare providers, billing teams, and insurance payers to maintain coding accuracy, resolve claim issues, and support quality billing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately code medical procedures and diagnoses.
- Ensure compliance with current coding regulations and billing standards.
- Support medical billing and claims submission processes.

Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) or Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT).
- Minimum 2–3 years of medical coding experience across multiple specialties.
- Certified CPC, COC, or equivalent certification from AAPC/AHIMA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
- Good understanding of EMR/EHR systems and reporting software.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and CMS.
- Experience in chart audits, claim resolutions, and mentoring junior coders.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
