About the Transport Team Leader Role
As a Transport Team Leader, you will oversee transportation and operational activities within the Cargo & Airport Operations department. The role involves workforce scheduling, transport investigations, performance monitoring, safety compliance, fleet coordination, and ensuring smooth operational delivery for airport transport services.
This position requires leadership, communication skills, operational planning expertise, and a strong understanding of airport transport procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Voyage Report (VR) investigations for the Transport Department.
- Manage overtime scheduling and vacation planning.
- Prepare monthly KPI reports and operational performance summaries.
- Review and analyze On-Time Performance (OTP) data.
- Assist with transport department rostering and workforce allocation.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with airline standards and airport safety regulations.
- Coordinate loading and unloading activities for flights.
- Support VIP, charter, private, and ultra-long-haul operations.
- Ensure food safety, quality control, and security compliance.
- Manage equipment operators and transport personnel.
- Provide recommendations for employee training and development.
